I am drawn to the art of the simple but inherently changing qualities of human-made objects, the imperfect, and the delicate magic occurring in and by nature. My photographic imagery therefore finds its greatest expression in the timelessness found in all things. The journey is never truly finished.

I capture and illuminate images in order to visually reveal. I explore the uniqueness of textures, intriguing darkness and light, fragments and ruin, and the unidentified.

To a certain extent, my photography reflects the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. According to Richard Powell,
"[w]abi-sabi nurtures all that is authentic by acknowledging three simple realities: nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect."
